You are not required to create an account in order to use codeguppy.com. However, you may want to do so in order to save your created programs and settings.
Our environment is designed for kids 13+ that have their own email address. Due to the advanced nature of coding topics presented, codeguppy.com is not appealing to younger kids. However, younger kids can explore the service together with their parents (parents are required to provide their own email address if they decide to create an account).
If you do create an account, we collect the following information: email address and content. Upon registration, we ask subscribers to provide their email address to act as authentication method to codeguppy.com service and receive communication. We also collect / store programs and other information that adults and children create through the codeguppy.com features. We are not collecting pictures. Our environment doesn’t allow uploading photos.
Adults and kids are free to create their own programs. These programs are private within each account. codeguppy.com is not offering any social media like sharing features. There are no built-in mechanisms to facilitate users to easily view, comment or review other users programs. codeguppy.com only provides unique Urls for programs that can be shared by users via email or other methods outside of codeguppy.com system.
We do not collect information that directly identifies a child (such as name, e-mail address, phone number).
